I mainly work on machine learning/pattern recognition, please see my Resume to see the latest topics I work on.

I am interested in working with you if:

· You are excited about machine learning/pattern recognition and one of the topics I am interested in.

· You are or are planning to be a student at ITU Computer Eng. Department or you have an advisor who is willing to co-advise with me.

· You are willing to work hard and for at least 2-3 full days a week on research. You are also willing to NOT work at a company outside (i.e. you can survive on graduate assistantship and/or project student scholarship).

· You are good at math (probability, statistics, linear algebra, optimization), programming (Matlab, Java, C++).

· You have taken a MS/PhD level Pattern Recognition courses and were successful.

· You are able to work with a group of people.

· You can read and write papers in English.

· You can understand and built up on work by others and you are able to document your work well
